All my life's a circle
This past spring I had the pleasure of making an order of gold bands for friends, and photos are just in from the photographer, so I am sharing these lovely images courtesy of Clean Plate Pictures...
Below, in advance of the main event, sample bands in sterling silver made the order sure to be fool proof, and as planned the finals were a perfect fit...
just like this happy couple.
The slight overage on the my 18kt gold order for the set combined a bit of gold from each band to make a sweet keepsake charm for the bride...
All's well that ends well! Another happy customer at ArtigianoJewelBox!
Below, some additional Etsy Metal artists offering hammered or chiseled styles in gold bands...

EtsyMetal Wedding 2.0
We're proud to have Shannon Conrad of Rubygirl as our team leader. Shannon is the innovator who originated the beloved interlocking block ring set, above. The photo at the top was supplied by one of the happy couples that have chosen this fabulous set to start life together on a playful note. Special thanks to photographer Barbara Sheridan and to the sheepishxlion shop for providing the photo.
Special thanks go out to Jane Font, above, for her inspirational organic work and her willingness to help us all get organized! Jane's been a great asset to EtsyMetal for a while now, and we are so pleased to have her.
We will also be very fortunate to see Betsy Bensen around here. I have no doubt her presence will be another tremendous asset as we endeavor to bring you the very best on etsy in metal jewelry and gifts to make your special day uniquely yours.

Magic metal moment

Etsy metal member Danielle Miller recently completed a very
special request: The perfect ring for the most unique proposal.
Artists Elaine and Waylon met at an iron pour in Brevard, NC
in 2006. For Elaine, a ceramic artist, and Waylon, a sculptor,
distance was no obstacle to love as they maintained a long
distance relationship across North and South Carolina
through 2008. They eventually joined forces in Philadelphia
where Elaine completed her MFA. With Elaine’s Master’s
under her belt, it was Waylon’s turn to pursue graduate
work and the couple was on their way to Kentucky...
and when the time came Danielle got the call for a standout
engagement ring featuring a gorgeous Tsavorite garnet in
sterling and 18kt gold with diamond accents.
Waylon proposed in dramatic fashion at an iron pour
in Kentucky, much like the one they met at 4 years earlier.
They have been so kind to share with us at EtsyMetal,
and now with you, the magic of their special moment...
the ring for a lifetime...

Erga: on creating the Balance Band
“This stylish, modern design is hand fabricated out of
sterling silver and a recycled solid 14kt yellow gold sphere.
Conceived as a wedding ring, and beautiful everyday for anyone.”
Erga

The symbolism of the gold sphere is open to interpretation.
As suggested by the ring's name, to me, this ring is
about balance. The balance of self, the balance of life,
the balance of the world, and, of course, the balance
of marriage. The sphere represents the love, the relationship,
the union. It is up to both parties to see that it is evenly
supported, and that the balance is maintained.
There is something very comforting and reassuring
about the shape of a sphere, and I feel that
this ring expresses that well.
